Flexo Plates Built for a Pressroom That Cannot Wait
Imaging, exposure and processing under one roof, with enough redundancy that a machine going down does not stop your plates. Sized from label work up to 50 by 80 inches.
Digital Flexo, Made to Repeat
Concord has processed photopolymer since it first came to market. The whole line from imaging through exposure to processing sits in the building, which is what makes consistent, repeatable plates possible rather than merely likely.
Running several imagers and several processors is not duplication for its own sake. It means plates turn faster, and a single machine failing does not become your production problem. Various thicknesses are available to suit the press the plate is going on.

Imaging
Cron HDI 1600 H+
Plates up to 47 × 60 in at up to 9600 dpi, at a speed matched by few in the industry.
Esko CDI 4835
Plates and films up to 35 × 47.25 in at 4000 dpi.
Kodak NX Mid
Kodak NX plates, Standard Digicap and Advanced Digicap patterns.
Between the three, the shop can put the proper plate on your press rather than the one machine it happens to own.
Exposure and Processing
Esko XPS Crystal LED
LED exposure in place of fluorescent tubes, which removes tube inconsistency and human error, and can transform any plate to a flat top.
Flint FV
Large format processing, drying and post exposure, handling plates up to 50 × 80 in.
Degraf 305 DW
A 36 × 48 in processor with digital prewash, carrying overflow and providing redundancy.
Interflex 900
Washout up to 36 × 50 in, multiple thicknesses at once, a .067 plate washed in 6 minutes and dry in an hour.
The Art Department Behind the Plate
Files are preflighted on the way in, so problem areas get flagged to you before they become printability issues on press. The department works in Adobe Creative Suite and Esko's Art Pro+ to take artwork from design stage to print ready.
Esko Imaging Engine is integrated into the workflow, which brings Full HD Flexo screening to improve solids and highlights, with Curve Pilot and Press Sync for calibration and color management on press.
- Partnered with GMG Color, Xrite and Techkon on color management
- Proof to standards, or replicate your actual press results
- File correction, separation and layout handled in house

Talk to Someone Who Runs the Machines
Flexo work is quoted on the job rather than a flat rate, so the fastest route is a conversation about the press, the substrate and the run.
